Hey everyone!

Holly wanted me to “pop the New Year Cherry” by being the first post of 2010 on our little mind-spill of a website.

Here’s to wishing you all a wonderful new year–may it be filled with love and peace and lots of hanky panky. 

Oh … and here’s to wishing the boys and girls in Washington either get their collective heads removed from their back pockets and usher in a new age of Common Sense … or get their offices cleaned out.  While I don’t promote either Liberal or Conservative agendas, I am very much looking forward to the wailing and gnashing of teeth that the new Senate and Representative elections will be bringing to the Progressive Liberals.  (Yes I do pick on them more than the conservatives because … well … they get so WORKED up over it!  Nothing funnier than watching a 24 year old Democrat trying to actually “explain” why Bush is an idiot.  Still, I digress …)

So onward we march as Americans and as Citizens of Mankind (yes, Mankind … so what … wanna fight about it?) at least until 2012 when Global Warming enthusiasts will be running around with sandwich boards and crying doom–just like the religious zealots did back on the eve of 2000.  (I like to think the Rapture actually did happen then but only like 3 people ascended.)   So, when you catch a would-be Noah trying to coax your two Daschunds from your back yard to put on his mega-ark in September of ‘12, get your pups in the house, pat him on the head and head inside–not forgetting to lock the door of course.  But since I’m not totally 100% a scathing critic, be sure to at least have a wide assortment of bathing suits standing by just in case.  Nothing worse than fashion crime in the watery Apocalyspe.
